ABOUT ME

My name is Natalia
I am 29 years old. I was born in Bromley (UK) but when I was 2 years old my parents decided to move to Colombia. I grew up in that lovely country but more than 3 years ago I came to London. I worked 5 years in Colombia. Now I work as a teaching assistant, which is something that I really love and enjoy. This year I am also teaching Music and Drama to Year 1 and Year 2. I need to gain some experience first in order to become a teacher in the UK.

PHILOSOPHY

Do my best in everything is my philosophy.
I believe that life gives us many opportunities to grow and learn but usually our eyes are not opened.
To think positive is the clue and work with perseverance if you really want to achieve your goals.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I use couchsurfing when I travel so I have the chance to meet interesting people, who are most of the time opened to share experiences. I have been in some CS meetings in Munich because my boyfriend lives there and it is always nice to meet people who are eager to talk and have a nice time together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my experiences using couchsurfing are good.
I have to say I met my boyfriend by going to a CS weekly meeting so I am quite grateful to CS.

I organised a FREE HUGS campaign in Colombia and also did one with my sister in London.
That experience of giving a hug to someone that you don't know before was an opportunity to become aware of how easily we judge people or unconsciously discriminate just by visual appearance.
