ABOUT ME

My name is Leonie and I am a 23-year-old German girl, who studied Industrial Design in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
After finishing my Bachelor I worked at an Oktoberfest in Beijing for a month. The following two months I spend travelling through China were I also made my first couch surfing experiences as a surfer.The summer before that I spend exploring Europe with my two best friends.Two very different ways of travelling and I still can't decide which one I prefer.Of course you have a wonderful time with your friends, but at the other hand, you are much likely to get in contact with local people if you are on your own. Hostels and couch surfing will prevent you from being lonely.That's why I signed up for this community in the first place. Wherever I travel I want to get in contact with other people.I want to meet people that are happy to do the same. Host me, exchange stories, have a good time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience with couch surfing was with Greg Garcia, whom I first met in Italy during my interrail trip. A couple of month he contacted me because he was in need of a place to sleep. Later on, I surfed in Hong Kong.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What impresses my most of all about travelling is the anxiety upfront, the joy in the meantime and the remaining smile afterwards.
