Overview
About Me
I'm a long-time Sydney-sider who enjoys real travel - I like to stay in one place for a while and really get to know it, and the people who live there. I like to pretend I'm a local and eat the same food and speak the same language.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people from around the world and doing fun stuff while sharing my city!

Music, Movies, and Books
I play piano, mostly Mozart/Liszt. I enjoy wandering across the harbour bridge to see a concert at the Sydney Opera House. The only Hollywood movies I tend to like are the escapist fun ones, but I enjoy a dose of different culture in European and Asian cinema. At the moment, I'm reading books about travelling or walking long distances - Wild by Cheryl Strayed, and On The Trail of Genghis Khan by Tim Cope.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Mt Kilimanjaro! I wish I'd done more cardio training for it, because I had terrible altitude sickness by the time I got to the top. I'm glad I made it, though.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm learning Spanish and salsa at the moment. I was involved in building Australia's fourth largest telecommunications company and I have a great story to tell for those who are interested. I've lived in Sydney for years and I know plenty of cool places to go and things to do, depending on what you're interested in and how long you're staying.
