My name is Lena. In June 2025, I got my Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and quit all my jobs. Now I work remotely as a journalist, editor and art teacher. I’m traveling a lot and write about my journeys and people I met on my way. I like to call myself a collector of people’s stories, because I believe that friendship, communication, and the meeting of different experiences are the most precious things in the world ✨

I believe in kindness, I believe in love, I believe in friendship. I believe that if we treat the world with kindness and spontaneity, it will respond to us in the same way 🌻 I also believe that life should be perceived through fun, playfulness and a sense of humor. I’d be very happy to share this energy with you 💫

P.s I’m NOT looking for relationships/dating/etc. For me, Couchsurfing is a place for exchanging experiences and meeting like-minded people around the world.

P.p.s. In January 2026 I started traveling across the Arabian Peninsula to explore its culture and Islam. My goal was to visit all the countries from the Gulf to the Levant. But because of the war, for now I’ve settled in Muscat, Oman🇴🇲

I love nature and all sorts of outdoor activities: hiking and camping in the mountains, skiing, kayaking, surfing, bouldering, and climbing 🌄⛷️🏄🏼‍♀️🧗🏽‍♀️🚣🏻‍♀️
As an ordinary person I like doing art, listening to the music, reading books, watching movies.
I have a background in philosophy and contemporary art (actually those were my majors in the university), four years of working in museums, six years of volunteering in psychoneurological shelters for people with special needs, and a year of working in a construction company in the US.
