I am a social work student from Berlin, pretty much into politics, sociology and psychology.
I'm a vegetarian with vegan tendencies, sometimes making exceptions for fish :D
I value honesty, solidarity and open and direct communication. I love the feeling of connecting with someone on any level, be it humor, empathy or any "intellecutual" topic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet locals and enjoy some escapism from the touristy masses at least for some time of the stay...even though I am aware I am part of it.
Tell me about the gentrification going on in your town and we can rant about it, it's the same everywhere... but beware: I will blame all the evil capitalists and not the individual tourist. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

The movies of my childhood are "Spirit", "Die wilden Kerle" and "Lord of the Rings".
Now some of my favorite ones are "Nymphomaniac", "Adams Apple" and "Waking Life".

In books I prefer non-ficiton, current favorite authors are Alice Miller and Sygmunt Baumann.

Currently my favorite music varies between Pink Floyd, Die Antwoord and some feminist Hip Hop artists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched "Fuego" volcano erupt from Acatenango in Guatemala.
I did a Vipassana retreat and my diving licence in Thailand.
And so on... but returning back home to my best friends and beloved Berlin is always a great experience, too. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have some basic knowledge about lucid dreaming and meditation.... so if you don't know anything about it yet and wanna know, I could share that.
Otherwise it's mostly social, psychological or political topic I can talk and share about... I am quite analytical, so maybe we could share that together, too. :)
