Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

As a surfer: I like to travel solo to places and not just skim over them and visit all the biggest tourist attractions; the magic of a city are its people, its vibe, and through couchsurfing is (so far the only way I know) how you uncover it's secrets - with the help of a local, who may become your friend in the meantime! This way, your journey is much more meaningful.

As a host: I enjoy cultural exchange so I am always happy to meet people from far away or from a different background, or people with different ideas and experiences. I prefer hosting people who are spontaneous, open and also interested in meeting me, not just looking for a free bed!

Intereses

Music (I play the saxophone and enjoy many different genres), reading, history, politics (liberal), exploring, psychology, and I love talking about just about anything! I am also passionate about trying out new things, foods, drinks, finding new places, meeting new people, experiencing as much of life as possible :)

Music: Varies! I play in a marching windband and a jazz orchestra but I like many kinds of music.
Books: mainly historical fiction, fantasy, thriller, also drama
Movies: quite mainstream taste but I also really enjoy quality cinema from Europe and elsewhere

It worries me that I can not think of a single amazing thing! But, I tend to try and enjoy every moment and find the beauty even in ordinary things.

I can teach first aid classes. Also, I used to be a tour guide in my hometown, so I can always tell a bit about that. I also found a passion in cooking.
