Hi, Couchsurfers of the world!

My name is Lena, I'm a 23 years old design student, currently living in Cologne. I'm an open-minded, enthusiastic person, trying to flow with the flow and against the current. I love music, animals, calmness, laughter, unconventional things, dedication, citys that never sleep, plants and nature, warmth, exploring new food, good conversations and vibes.

I love to discover, meet new people, see things from different perspectives and mentalitys, sharing experiences, get to know new places, cultures and languages.

Short bio: I grew up in lovely Heidelberg in south germany. After finishing school, I went to Madrid as an Aupair for one year and since then my heart got stuck with spanish and latinamerican languages and culture. Next station was back to germany, Frankfurt am Main where I worked in a publicity agency. There, I found out for myself that the commercial branch is not the direction I want to aim in design, so I started studying Integrated Design in Cologne. It contains social-political solutionfinding as Gender Design and Sustainable Design wich I find really interesting.

Interessen

I'm really into modern art and experimental cultural events (like theatre/movies/streetevents). I do my own music, love to sing and jam or produce sounds and tracks in ableton with my little synthesizer. I play (beach-)volleyball and started skating some moths ago. You can always count on me when it comes to nice food - I'm an easygoing veggie. I like to go out and to shake it off! Same with a cosy hangout session or a chilled day in the park or at the beach. Generally I'm a 100% optimist and a life loving person, I always try to keep my intentions positive. I like to laugh a lot and always feel happy when I'm surrounded by people with good vibes :)

Favourite music genres are electronic music (house, acid, experimental), hiphop, jazz, but it's always depending on the track: Every genre is welcome to me if I just get the vibe.
