I love life! I enjoy hiking, training jiu jitsu and mma, just hanging out outside, weightlifting… painting, rock climbing, playing piano and guitar, singing, getting ice cream, swimming in lakes, latin and ballroom dancing. Skill level varies in each haha!

Some of my favorite experiences were backpacking in Glacier National Park and all the memories swimming at the lake from my growing up days in Minnesota. Also spending hour after hour stargazing… I grew up rural and the stars were brilliant.

I am a realtor and absolutely love how much I get to interact with people! It’s lovely and makes me very happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and building new friendships!! I also grew up in a religious community that deeply valued hospitality and although I’m no longer part of that community, I still hold that value personally. I have very fond memories of traveling to different states and staying with people I had just met.

Music, Movies, and Books

For media… Band of Brothers, White Collar, Lord of the Rings. Shawshank Redemption and Good Will Hunting. I don’t often sit down long enough to watch anything though.

Music… wide variety! Rap and hip hop at the gym. A lot of classical and folk. I’m currently on a kick listening to a Bach and Vivaldi cello track on repeat.

Currently reading and have recently read, Integrity by Dr. Henry Cloud and Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Big fan of the Bible too, super interesting piece of literature and I find it fascinating how much influence it has held on culture over the years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Find joy! Life can be hard. Out of all the things I’ve done, I’m most proud of myself for putting in the hard work to learn to choose gratitude and joy in my everyday life.
