ABOUT ME

Hej!
I'm a young woman from Finland and I enjoy experiencing new cultures and share stories with people around me. I'm thoughtful and trustworthy and I would say I get along with most people pretty well. I'm always trying to look at things through other peoples' eyes, to understand them and myself better.

I reflect on things a lot and this might show me as a bit too serious sometimes. That's not the case though. (I'm just Finnish...)
I do not smoke and I enjoy a few drinks in good company- be it dancing all night or having a deep discussion, but I rarely drink immense amounts.

PHILOSOPHY

Something that I brought with me from my last big travels, was the maori saying:
"He aha te mea nui?
He tangata.
He tangata.
He tangata."

Which means: What is the most important thing? It is people, it is people, it is people.

Hopefully get lot of nice experiences through both hosting and surfing and hanging out with couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a few times- only positive experiences! The fact how accomodating people can be, keeps amazing me, every time. I have guided people in my home city, as I did not have the possibility to host anyone yet.

Music, open-minded people, travelling, travelling, travelling, dancing, latin dancing, yoga, gym, swimming and other sports... Bernese Mountain Dogs! Art, parties, singing in the car, honesty, photos, good coffee and tea, musicals, flowers, boats, archipelago, . Non-mainstream things. Smiles, polite people, people with inner beauty. My great friends.
Conversations with strangers. Deep stuff. Bookstores.

I can teach you a lot about Helsinki and about Finnish culture. I can teach you some random Finnish and Swedish phrases. I can take you on a walk around town.

I want to learn about other countries and cultures, and languages too. I want to share experiences with others, that we'll still remember when we're old.:)
