About Me

I have a tendency to write too much, sorry in advance:

I love music more than anything in the world. I play several instruments including the trombone, the ukulele, the Kalimba, plus I growl - like real metal growling. If you ever meet me you'll notice that I sing (clean - I would not go around and growl in people's faces) a lot too. I'd love to learn other instruments as well. What instrument(s) do you play, or, which instrument would you like to play? Let's have a jamsession. I am also producing my own music using Ableton Live.
http://www.curioustin.space if you want to check out my Minimalistic Electro-Acoustic Glitch music with hints of field recordings made while traveling the world... Yeah, that's my genre, try to wrap your head around that. :p

Other than that I am very humble and I try to be kind to everyone though I'm a bit shy at first. I guess being comfortable around new people requires some practice... :) When I get more comfortable I can talk for several hours about everything from "hard core" music theory, to the way of the Universe, to the most random things. I'm not a party girl, really, but I don't mind drinking a glass of red wine with a small group of friends. I also like baking, and crocheting, and I don't mind sharing whatever I have created with you.

Watching a starry night sky (preferably with some dancing Aurora Borealis) while philosophising about the psychology of the human mind, society and religion while drinking tea is also very very nice. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know more of you beautiful beings whom I share this fascinating human experience with; To jam out some music, to share food, to reconnect outside the digital world, anywhere in the world, either at your place or mine (whenever I get my own..) ^^

Interests

I'm working my way up to compose and perform music for a living. I play several instruments, but I still have so much to learn.
I try to collect myself by doing yoga and meditation, also making vegan food and cakes, and self made crocheted things.
Water is my favorite element. I'm a bit scared of the ocean though. If you know how to scuba dive or something similar, please teach me, and I will do something nice in return! :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I take inspiration from literary all kinds of music, but to listen to I prefer: Bill Laurance, CloZee, Elastic Dog Sandwitch, Hol Baumann, Midori Takada, Phaeleh, Radiohead, Tennyson, Tim Hecker, Tool — basically close to anything except mainstream pop as it has turned out today; moneymaking manshit with no soul.

These days I don't really watch anything, but I like nature-, psychological-, philosophical-, or spiritual Documantaries. And honestly, Family Guy, F is for Family, Rick and Morty, and Adventure Time is awesome too.

I finally "grew up", and started to read more books. Currently I am reading Tao Te Ching, one chapter every morning, and "12 Rules For Life" by Jordan B. Peterson. Free Play is great, along side "Become What You Are" by Alan Watts, and Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My class mates and I played the Gamelan together in London. What a beautiful instrument! <3

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach you some Norwegian in exchange for your language, or discuss music theory with you. Or if you're interested in learning how to crochet or play an instrument (mentioned above somewhere) I'd love to share what I know by now.
If not, I love baking and cooking, and I aim to veganize and "ketogenize" every dish.
We can also meditate together, followed by a nice cup of green tea (I really love tea!).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My ears; for both listening to your amazing experiences and to great music. Tea, vegan food and laughter - a lot of laughter... :)
