About Me

ABOUT ME

That's impossible to say! I guess you have to come and find out by yourself!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have a personal philosophy. I have opinions to a lot of different things and I am always willing to communicate these. But there is no one big slogan after which I structure my life and acting like I am acting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My Couchsurfing experiences been mostly good.I never felt uncomfortable when I stayed in somebodies house. Most people who are Hosts by Couchsurfing love to have new people around and show them the city where there staying at. I appreciate that! Its also great, when you just came for Couchsurfing and in the end it turned out as a friendship.

Interests

I am interested in theater. There are two parts at theater which I both love. The first part is about sitting as a spectator in a theaterpiece and being just overwhelmed and bewitched by the happening on the stage and the atmosphere. Of course there is also the second part about theater coming from my more theoretical point of view from university: The question in which way theater is helpfull for the human beeing in a very distinctive way?

So Theater is a topic I really love. But for sure there lots of things I am interested in: Photography, Literature, Music and for sure: travelling! But actually I'm not so sure if you can call it "travelling" what I am mostly interested in. Because travelling in my definition is about seeing a foreign country in a limited period of time. Mostly this period of time is too short. I would love to actually live at so many places in the world, for a longer amount of time. Not only arriving, rushing through and getting into the airplane back "home".

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I read a lot. Literature is an important part of my free time. I love Edgar Allan Poe. Bertolt Brecht is a great author for theaterpieces; espacially "Baal" is one of my favorite books. "The picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde, "Lolita" by Nabokov and "Spieltrieb" by Juli Zeh, as well as "Alexis Zorbas, the Greek" by Niko Kazantzaki are all books which where really important in my life to read. Besides from that is it always fun to read Umberto Eco or Walter Moers (german writer).

Movies: I am sure there are a lot of movies I saw and I liked, but I guess its impossible to reconstruct all of them right now. Movies are just not so sticking in my mind like books do. Lynch for sure is never wrong; "Requiem of a dream" makes me still breathless and sad; "Train of Live" i just a great movie, as well as "Le fableaux destin de Amelie Poulin" although I watched that movie way too often. "Les Triplettes de Belle Ville" is also an awesome movie...and that's going on and on and on...

Music: Music is one of the most important medias which are expressing and support your current mood, or to arouse a mood. It can make you happy, sad, aggressive, overwhelmed...way more better than anything else.
I like Balkan Music for dancing, Peaches or Hot Chip for pushing me up, Meret Becker because of her great Lyrics, Arcade Fire for floating. But for sure this are just examples, its impossible to name all of them.
