ABOUT ME

I'm currently Bavaria, Germany with my husband. Over the last four years I studied at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska-Kearney, and participated in the Nebraska Study Abroad program at Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. There I met amazing people, one of whom has become not only my best friend, but my also my husband. With him, I've traveled more and been given the opportunity to move to Germany.

I feel that I have the ability to keep an open mind in every situation. I'm always up for an adventure. Spur of the moment decisions always turn out to be some of the best experiences. I thrive on meeting new people and seeing new things. I'm the happiest, just hanging out and talking while listening to some good music, and drinking some good coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never participated in couchsurffing, as of yet. While traveling in Europe, our group always stayed in hostels and when I was traveling independently, I stayed at friend's places. I'm extremely interested in this and hope to participate many times in the future. This will hopefully begin once I'm traveling more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It may not seem impressive, but hitchhiking from Olomouc to Vienna was really amazing. I was stepping out of my safety zone and doing something that is considered "dangerous" and "reckless" by U.S. standards. During that trip, I saw the good in people that I wasn't sure still existed. It made me more comfortable and willing to trust strangers and give anyone and everyone a chance.
