I'm German/US-American and moved to Berlin about 3 years ago to improve my German for my studies, and have some fun in that crazy city. About a year ago I spontaneously applied and got accepted to an environmental sciences program in Cottbus, which is quite different from Berlin. I'm happy to be here and glad that Berlin is only a short train-ride away.

I'm pretty busy with my studies at the moment, but I'm still open to host or meet up with people who are in the area. I live in a shared apartment at the moment and my room is quite small. This means that I don't have much to offer when it comes to couches. You would be sharing a room with me, and since I just moved I only have one small mattress in the room. I can offer a thermarest (camping mat) but that is about it I'm afraid. If this is not a problem for you, then feel free to contact me.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love to meet cool people from the places I visit and learn from them what it is like to live in that place. It's nice to experience a new place from a more non-touristy perspective, which is much harder to do when staying in a hotel or hostel. It's also great for traveling on a budget (:
I'd also like to do the same for travelers visiting me. I've only couchsurfed once and I've never had the right circumstances to host someone, so I'm still kind-of a newbie here; please don't hesitate to contact me.
