Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mainly here to meet people when I go travel. Am a busy person, but will have the possibility to host a CS'er from time to time, if the time fits.

Interests

TRAVELLING of course :) Besides that I go to a lot of music concerts and I looove food. I go out to dinner or fetch take away several times a week, and I love to cook as well, try new things, swap recipies and so on. Futhermore, I also go to the movies a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Looooove films in general, except for horror- and Will Ferrell movies...
Some of my favourite films are, We were soldiers, The Shawshank Redemption, Gone with the wind, Dancer with wolves, The Notebook, The Green Mile.
I also loves series like Sex and the city (of course), Gilmore Girls, Modern Family, Californication, Bones, Band of Brothers...and....and.... :)

Music:
Hmm, Music.... listen to different things, but I guess especially rock and popmusic. I own both a cd- and an LP player and love to hang around my apartment and listen to music. If I have to name some it could be Neil Young, Bob Dylan, John Mayor, Tracy Chapman, Carpark North, Robyn, Tina Dickow, Kashmir, Tim Christensen, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy and many more :)

Books:
I don't read alot, but have always enjoyed it, and usually read before I go to sleep. Among my favourites are Children of the earth, Pillars of the Earth, World Withot End, Fall of Giants, Count of Monte Cristo, and of course the Lonely Planet Travel Guides :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(Actually I have two) :)
Watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat.
Seeing the colours change an early morning over the Serengeti, from a hot air balloon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always interested to learn more about other cultures, and how people perceive themselves or other countries.
As written before, I also have a great interest in food and are eager to learn new tips and tricks.
