Hi, I'm Elena, 33 years old, originally from Germany, currently living in Berlin. I love to travel and have already explored quite a bit of the world. Spending time with friends, playing tennis, doing yoga, reading, swimming, and discovering new places are some of the things that make me feel alive.

I’m especially drawn to the sea. It's where I can truly relax and recharge. While I also love the mountains, the ocean has a special place in my heart. One of my biggest dreams is to live on an island one day. I’ve already had a little taste of that life while living and working in Tenerife for a while.

Now that I’m back in Berlin, I’m excited to be part of the Couchsurfing community. I’m new here (eventhough I signed up here a few years ago but never really used it) and really looking forward to connecting with people who’d love to show me around their places. I find it incredibly enriching to meet others this way . It’s such a special and authentic way of connecting.

I’m very respectful and tidy, and always treat other people’s homes and belongings with care. Personal growth and self-development are also important parts of my life – I love learning more about myself and the world through meaningful conversations and new experiences.

I’m not the world’s best cook (yet!), but I’d gladly offer to prepare a meal – or better yet, treat you to dinner at your favorite local restaurant.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm currently traveling solo and honestly, I'm a bit over the typical hostel experience. It often feels impersonal and very party-focused — something I find increasingly exhausting over time (maybe that's just part of getting older, haha).
A lot of my friends have used Couchsurfing and shared really positive experiences, so I’d love to give it a try myself and connect with people in a more meaningful way.

When it comes to music, I’m into all kinds of genres, but if I go out dancing, it’s definitely techno. What can I say — Berlin runs through my veins!

I'm an easygoing and respectful guest who will treat you, your space, and your privacy with care. I'm clean and tidy and I really appreciate it when the space around me is too.
