ABOUT ME

I am training to be a teacher and working in foreign language teaching at the moment, too. Apart from that I am more learner type of person :) always interested in exploring and very curious. I have travelled quite a bit and enjoyed particularly the people I met and the stories we share. Based in Britain at the moment, I started traveling on the trail of literature and following some creative minds back to their inspirational sources and birthplaces - great stuff! :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been surfing a lot in NZ, Australia, Fiji, Israel and the UK and it's been great. Generally, I love to see couchsurfing as a two-way project, though: what you put out into the world, comes back to you. Therefore, I am looking forward to putting out the offer of hosting someone once I am back in Germany as I am unfortunately not able to host at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been an amazing experience so far. I have met great people, been in amazing places and learned so so much. Trust as the ultimate "currency" is a wonderful thing!

Traveling this planet and exploring its beauty!

Nature and culture therefore catch my attention more thoroughly than any crazy-wild-exessive-party would. None the less I do appreciate a good night of dancing to some good tunes just as much as a quite glass of wine in a cosy pub.

Particularly, languages, literature and art catch my interest, for the latter two both the classics and modern or even post-modern bits by people with their names unknown in the top ranks of literature and art have the potential to keep me busy for hours.

Also, I am vegetarian and try to take care of my surroundings. All the veggie stuff (sustainability, ecological production and keeping wast to a minimum) are things I care about and are interested in.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I absolutely respect that you are inviting me to stay in your life for the time being and don't rely on you taking care of me, showing me around or being my entertainer. It does not need much to make me happy and content, which I think makes it easy to host me :) I will always try to take up as little space as I can, both in terms of actual space in your house/room and in terms of time and attention, but am happy to share my stories with you and hear yours if your up for a little chat.
