Hi there!
Let me introduce myself, my name is Lenka and I am a Slovak girl currently living in Scotland with my boyfriend Richard (also Slovak). We are a kind and friendly couple that loves travelling and learning new things. At the start, we might give an impression of shy persons, but once acquainted we get on very well with everyone (we are very easygoing). We like reading books, watching good movies, traveling and exploring. I enjoy handicraft, art, learning languages and baking, while Richard is into cars, nutrition, and photography.
We rent one bedroom apartment in Dunfermline, Scotland. The town is situated just north of Edinburgh over the Firth of Forth. Once, it was a capital of Scotland and you can find here the grave of Robert the Bruce or St. Margaret. If not interested, Edinburgh is just around the corner (also St. Andrews, Stirling or Perth) :-)

As I already mentioned we might give an impression of shy people. So maybe you ask why are we here then? Because we like to meet new people, learn new things and discover new countries, new cultures.
In 2017 we would like to travel around the world and it would be nice to have some friends out there! :-) It is the first step in our plan how to open up and meet the world. We also really like the idea of people helping to each other and find this as a great opportunity how to explore a local area through the eyes of hosts/locals.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

We can accommodate up to 2 guests. Unfortunately no couch (well, we have one, but it´s uncomfortable for sleeping), just 2 air beds in our living room (separate from our bedroom ;-)). Otherwise, we have everything ready :-) We would also like to ask you to smoke outside of the flat and no pets.
We enjoy sharing memories and experience, goodwill, hospitality, good talk over a drink (not necessary alcoholic if you don´t like it ;)) and at last but not least foooood :-)
If we are free (usually weekends) we can also offer transport or small trips around Scotland with our car for shared costs of fuel :-) Or give you recommendations on places to visit.
I can teach you how to bake great bread and Richard can cook you one of his delicious meals! We would also appreciate an opportunity to practice our Italian (very basic) and German (a bit better).

We can offer a good talk, interest in the life of the host, help with housekeeping, or preparation of a luscious meal. If you are interested in cultural diversity we can tell you stories about living during comunism. Because our country was part of soviet union.
