Hello,

My name is Lennart I'm 30 years and I come from the beautiful city of Utrecht. I've bin on vacations in a few country's across Europe but never backpacked before and now it's time!! I love old city's and churches rivers nature sunshine good food and music. I am an easy going person and love to work with my hands I'm very interested in people and there stories.

I stopped drinking and smoking about 6 months ago so I'm not really into house party's and going to bars and pubs or large groups of people. (That kinda makes me uncomfortable). Please don't host me if you're planning a party. I want to travel to see France meet people eat local food visit museums churches and beautiful places. Not to get drunk and party.

I'm carrying my sleeping mat sleeping bag and pillow with me so really all I need is a flat surface and maybe a roof would be nice. XD I'm a well mannered person and I clean up after myself and I'm not to lazy to help around the house. I still can't believe that people are this kind to let strangers in there house to sleep and make it possible for me to travel so I'll behave as guest in your house.

My plan is to travel for about a month to explore France I'll be hitchhiking taking busses trains and lot's of walking. I think/hope my route will be Amiens, Rouen, Caen, Saint Malo, Vannes, Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon, and back home to Utrecht. Something like that would be awesome but I have no idea how it's gonna turn out and I don't really care!

I'm really exited to go and use Couchsurfing but also a bit nervous. I hope you've got an idea of who I am after reading this and please feel free to ask anything! I can't wait to meet new people and go on this amazing adventure!

This summer i finally want to hit the road and travel! Hitchhike couchsurf meet new people and see new beautiful places. I was always to afraid to go by myself and tought I needed a lot of money to travel and I just saw all the things that could go wrong. (still do a little bit) Now I'm gonna do it before it's to late! I don't want to be old and grey and think to myself what I shame I didn't do that when I was young and now it's to late..
