About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Ever heard a song so good that you just shut out everything else? Nothing matters except what you hear in your headphones at that moment? If I bring up that feeling in someone else with my music, my mission would be complete.
ABOUT ME
My name is Lennart, 21, a happy and outgoing Swedish drummer.
Music is my biggest passion! There isn't a day when I don't listen to it. Sometimes the only time when I don't listen to music is when I'm sleeping. Alternative, indie, rock is the genres I listen most to.
I play drums in a band, and it's more than a hobby. We're actually trying to make it big which I hope we do someday :)
I also play piano, guitar and bass. And I'm part of different samba percussion groups as well. So basically music is a great part of my life.
I find it really easy to start a conversation with people I don't know and I think you can always learn something from anyone.
I think that humor and having fun is a healthy part of life, no matter what the situations. I also like to be spontaneous and do stuff differently. I looove pushing the limit! ;)
I also believe in that you don't know until you've tried it. Meaning that you shouldn't be afraid to try new stuff and that there is no certainty only opportunity.
PHILOSOPHY
YOLO. But not in that wimpish Lets-do-24-shots-of-tequila-Yolo-way. More like when Yolo actually meant something.
I'm kind of scared that when I lie on my death bed I will think that I didn't experience enough things in life and that I wanna try to do as much as possible while I'm alive. That's why I usually don't hesitate doing stuff if I feel I can't get anything bad out of it. Let me quote the great movie V for Vendetta: "There is no certainty, only opportunity".
Or like Walt Disney said: "If you can dream it, you can do it".
The best saying I've ever heard was from my old teacher though. When I told him I never thought I'll be the rockstar I'm slowly becoming, he just said: "You are the only one who stops you." Which is so true!
Ps. I'm probably gonna wish I did EVEN MORE stuff while lying on my death bed, but hey! Let's cross out as many things on our bucket lists before we go out okay? ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've never used CS before so this is very exciting. I'm doing a Eurotrip by my self this summer (June 2014) so I'm looking for people who can show me the best of every city
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This is actually my first time here so I have no idea! I just felt that my summer was about to suck so I needed to do something radical. Therefore I'm heading out in Europe on my own, looking for new adventures.
I don't have any trouble sleeping away from home and I've traveled a lot so I reckon this won't be to hard for me ;)
Interests
Well like I said, music is a big part of my life!
And having lots of fun. Another great passion is live music and concerts. I've seen 106 different bands live, and been to a total of 141 concerts.
I've actually got a list...

I also enjoy arranging stuff, like different events. Maybe do a party that is a little bit out of the ordinary.
I also enjoy working out. I used to run a lot but now I mostly work out at the gym. Trying to sculpt those guns you know ;)
I've also played tennis for 9 years before I quit.

Movies:
I love movies with a twist ending. I usually don't like the once where you know exactly how it will end 10 minutes in. But if a movie makes you think a lot even after you finished it, then you know it's good. Inception, Shutter Island, Dark Knight trilogy, Tarantino movies. Everything involving Zombies, Shawshank Redemption, Memento etc.
I also enjoy the TV-shows Dexter, Breaking Bad, Entourage, Flight of the Conchords, Friends, Lost, The Walking Dead.
Books:
When it comes to books I usually only read books that I've heard a lot about, or when I've seen the movie version. Flight Club, The Hunger Games, Twilight... 1984 is great, but my all time favorite is Harry Potter. I'm a huge HP-fan!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can I only name one..? :(
I lived in Austria for 4 month skiing, working and partying. Twice I went to an international youth camp in England and spent 2 weeks just making friends all across Europe.
I saw Muse at Wembley Stadium 2010, together with an audience of 100.000 people.

Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot of unnecessary facts about denim! Like that the WW at the two backpockets of a Wrangler jeans stands for Western Wear etc...
And I know a lot about music I guess. At least about the music I listen to. I could teach you how to get to the front of the crowd at a concert, how to crowd surf and which is the best way to get hold of a set list from your favorite band! Maybe I could even teach you a chord or two on the guitar ;)
