I hate talking about myself I always prefer to meet in person but try to give a good sense of who I am from this profile.

I would love to meet you! I'm a millennial and I'm not into this digital texting world. Unless we're making plans, don't expect a response from me, I'm more of a proactive person so don't be surprised if I want to exchange numbers quickly. I like fast quick easy communication like a phone call rather than texting back and forth for weeks.

Currently I live in Southside of Glasgow. and really keen to show people round the city so please message me if you are visiting. My flat is not very fancy but I do have a couch so hosting is a little difficult for me but please message me if you are not too high maintenance! As I'm looking to move I can't accept guests and more than one month (31 calendar days) in advance as of writing this- November 2025

I'm a really big traveller since I was really small and I love meeting new people and forming new connections. I thrive off adventure and new cultures.

I have been solo travelling since I was 12 (yes 12!) I spent large parts of my childhood travelling in Germany, Italy and Austria because of my family so was quite independent from a young age. I was born in Edinburgh but also spent parts of my childhood in England :) I'm really involved in the meetup.com scene for over 10 years. I'm newer to couchsurfing because of high rent prices in the UK Ive never been in a position to host

My degrees are in English literature but I have worked in various sectors in my life including the military, third sector and public sector. I also spent some time working in television in my 20s.

I believe in asking the difficult questions in life. My biggest passion in life is probably womens rights. I am very pro EU and anti brexit

Ich spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsch. I have been learning on and off for over 20 years. One of my goals for 2025 is to try and pick up some Italian also. I am keen to move to the EU but Brexit has made it a challenge!

MUSIC:
My favourite song is I Heard it Through The Grapevine by Marvin Gaye

I like a lot of stuff but my favourite band is Fall Out Boy. Closely followed by the New Radicals. Other than that I love mostly indie rock like The Killers and classic rock and older stuff like Stevie Wonder I like and I listen to the regular stuff on the charts like Adele. I was born in 91 so I like 90s stuff I grew up with. I also love musical theatre. My favourite musicals probably being Wicked and Spring Awakening.

MOVIES
Shawkshank Redemption, Castaway, Sliding Doors. I love 90s movies! My favourite actor is Tom Hanks.

BOOKS
Doing my masters in literature made me hate reading unfortunately!
Before that - Bernardine Evaristo- Girl Woman Other, Mark Haddon - The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, Augusten Burroughs stuff. I love Roald Dahl. Aye I read most stuff!
