I am a brazilian journalist, photographer and musician. Also consider myself a traveller, someone who has, from time to time, to discover new landscapes, cities, food, people, beers, culture and so it goes...

I have returned home in the beginning of October from a two month trip in Europe, where I couchsurfed for the first time in Bonn and Dusseldorf (Germany) and Vilnius (Lithuania). Three really great experiences, I must say, so I was already decided by that time that when I returned home I would open my house to other surfers.

I live in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil - that's reaaally on the south, close to Argentina and Uruguay. It is a great city, full of touristic attractions, nature, good food and good beer, easy going people (not all of us, but you got the point)... I will be glad to host you.

I am 36 years old, have travelled to a few countries in South America (more recently, Bolivia and Peru) and lived in Australia for one year back in 2008.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I love to travel and to make new friends, to learn about how people live ind different countries, regions, cities, neighborhoods... When I travel, I rather try to get as local as possible, avoiding tourist traps and all this sort of things, so I guess that couchsurfing with the right people is one of the best ways to travel with this mindset. Besides, I want to give back to other travelers all the things that my hosts gave me when I was traveling so, yes, you should have a good time in my place too! :)

I LOVE music. Many styles, but specially brazilian music (the good one), folk, jazz, indie and classic rock.

I really enjoy all the nerdy stuff like Star Wars, Goonies, Stranger Things (more recently), Back to the Future, and also all the Wes Anderson movies!

Have read many books through my life, but the special ones are On The Road (clichê!!!), Dostoievsky, Jonathan Franzen, Jennifer Egan, Machado de Assis, etc....

I already worked with children as a music teacher. Also teached English in a school, in 2009. Love to learn (and maybe teach) new recipes, new songs... I am an experienced photographer too, and I love to share tips and ideas about it.
