About Me
Hi! I am a French exchange student from Paris currently living in California and studying at the University of California at Santa Barbara. I am majoring in geography here in the US but I am doing a double degree program in France: I study political science at Sciences Po Paris, as well as physics and chemistry at the Sorbonne University Pierre & Marie Curie (Paris 6). Next year I'll start a master degree in Public Affairs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Doing couchsurfing sounds like an amazing way to meet new people and discover new places, especially in the US. Since I am not from here, I would love to travel around the US that are such a huge and diverse country for cheap. It is also great to live at local residents' places, so you really feel like you're as close as possible to the daily life reality; it avoids the cheerless side of hotels.
Interests
I am very interested in any kind of music, and I have been playing harp and piano for about 12 years. I plaid in orchestras for ballets and operas, and did a lot of concerts and competitions all around France. I wish I could be a professional harpist but I am also very interested in social sciences and I thought that would be easier to find a job in the future ;) Apart from that, I do figure skating and I love it; just feels like flying on the ice. I'd love to hear about your interests now :)
