Overview
About Me
I‘m a podcaster who‘s stepped away from the microphone to do some real-world listening. Lately, I‘ve found myself at a crossroads, both with my channel and my personal journey. I’ve spent so much time curating other people‘s stories that I felt I needed to go out and live a new chapter of my own.
That‘s why I‘m here. For me, Couchsurfing is about depth over distance. I‘m passionate about meaningful travel, which to me means connecting with people, sharing long conversations, and seeing the world through someone else‘s eyes for a while. I believe the most powerful perspectives are often found in a living room, not a guidebook.
As a guest, I promise respect, cleanliness, and genuine curiosity. I‘d be happy to cook a meal, share stories from my work with sound and narrative, or simply be a thoughtful listener. I‘m on this trip to reflect, and I can‘t think of a better way to do that than by meeting you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here for the connection, not just the accommodation. Standard tourism often feels like skimming the surface. I believe you truly understand a culture when you share a moment with someone who calls it home.
Couchsurfing is my chosen bridge to those moments. It's an opportunity to swap stories, gain a local perspective, and experience the genuine hospitality and everyday magic that guidebooks can't capture.

Music, Movies, and Books
My Passions: Deep conversations sparked by books, films, and music.
My Anchor Book: Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood. It's a companion I've revisited since my teens, and its portrayal of lonely connections profoundly shapes my worldview. Reading it for the fourth time—this time in an Uzbek café—was a lesson in how places rewrite the stories we think we know.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If I had to point to one truly amazing thing, it's how a childhood fascination completely rerouted my life.
I fell in love with Murakami's world as a teenager. That love was quiet, but it was the first spark. After graduation, almost inevitably, I found myself writing. That writing became the backbone of my solo podcast—every story you hear is first a story I've written. To date, that's over 170 stories, over 170 scripts.
The amazing part isn't the number, though. It's the quiet revolution it represents. **Through the acts of reading and writing, I literally authored a new life for myself.** It taught me that our deepest passions aren't just hobbies; they are blueprints. I'd love to hear what has unexpectedly shaped your path.
Teach, Learn, Share
My way of saying thank you is through sharing:
1. A thoughtful gift from my home culture or my travels.
2. My full attention and curiosity in heartfelt conversations. I'm here to listen as much as to share.
3. Stories and laughs. I believe a home is happiest when it's filled with good energy and genuine exchange.
