CURRENT MISSION

To have as much fun as possible while travelling for work! 98% of my travel is work-related (meetings and conferences, mainly), and I get to go to cool places but get stuck in hotels and it's easy to keep to the tourist routes.

ABOUT ME

Overeducated and silly, I love to travel but pretty much just do it for work. I've lived in Dublin, Ireland and spent a lot of time in the UK. Most of my travel has been through Europe but I'd like to spend more time in the future traveling in the USA. I have a son, born in December 2009, who is my pride and joy and who will travel with me! I like to eat and drink. I like to take guided tours and sneak away half way through. I prefer ruins to rebuildings.

I just bought my own place and I have a spare room and a fold-out sofa! Looking forward to hosting people passing through Bloomington.

I've been skinny dipping off the east coast of St. Catherine's Island (a private barrier island off the coast of Georgia), in the middle of the night, with the Milky Way lighting the sky and bioluminescence lighting the water.
