ABOUT ME

I enjoy getting to meet people. I am down for new things that no o. I am college student and trying to travel as much as I can. I feel like there is a huge world with so much to see that is easy to explore.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in love, compassion, critical thought, and action. I am an optimist and a realist at the same time. Can't ignore my/others problems but I can hope for the best and promote change. I think this earth is our home and our neighbors home so we should treat it right. I try not to be a consumer by re-using stuff and claiming discarded items from others but I am very far perfect. Self-sustainability is important. I also love seeing what drives people and what makes them happy. The more I learn about people, the more I realize that most of them are doing the best they can with the recourse and mindset in that moment. I like to listen. I think manors are important, but some people get too crazy about them. Although I take caution around strangers, I don't get turned off anything besides hate and violence.

I used Couchsurfing to hitchhike/bus my way up to Seattle and also to travel for a month around Europe.

Interests

I love music and art. I write a lot of weird folk-like music. I am just starting a band as well as a hip hop duo. I love to explore nature as well as the urban jungle. I have an interest in human psychology. I like to meditate and explore the mind/psyche/consciousness as much as I can. I love cooking food although I don't know too many meals. I would love to learn. Honestly I love learning from people, especially passions. I hope to learn a lot while traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a huge passion of mine. I'm into anything that makes me feel feelings or move my body. I write songs myself and try to play them everywhere I can. Some of my favorite authors are Hunter S Thompson, Neil Gaiman, Robert Anton Wilson, and Ursula K le Guin. With movies and books, I like science fiction and fantasy, as well as realistic fiction or surreal fiction. Oh and non-fiction of course.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the coolest places I've been is Peru. I went to the jungle as well as Machu Picchu. They are both awesome. The jungle was probably my favorite though. They way of life is so different.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basic guitar or vocal training. I'm down to jam and trade songs. Cooking would be cool to learn more about. I like to discuss peoples passions, fears, philosophies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach guitar and vocals, as well as be a jam partner. I can cook (sorta) and do chores. I really want someone to practice spanish with cuz I'm shy.
