I grew up in the UK but moved to NZ in 2000 and since lived in Thailand for 7 years (now back in NZ again).

I enjoy kayaking, motorbike riding, walking and reading.

I live with my girlfriend Mai (30), who is Vietnamese.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had many great experiences in my travels, but hiking the himalayas will always stay towards the top of the list. Also taking a helicopter up to the top of a glacier was a lot of fun.

I love to learn and to share. I have spoken on stage, created courses and written 3 books to date (writing a fourth now).

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a spare bedroom with double bed (sorry, just standard double not queen or king size), but it has its own private bathroom.

Also have a double kayak and fishing rod that can be launched from the from of the garden.

Can share some local knowledge and ideas of places to visit.

Also have wifi.
