I've been traveling/wandering since college through programs like Wwoof and Workaway, so It's only natural I try Couchsurfing.... I landed in Portland a couple years ago and decided to stick around. I work in brewing to pay some bills. I play folk music and write about dystopian trends for fun (and to pay other bills).
Let's see, what else... Oh, I hiked a big chunk of the Appalachian Trail in 2016 (Maine to Manhattan) and I volunteered on a goat dairy farm in 2017.

Books? The Aubrey Maturin Series by Patty O'brien is my numero uno by a significant margin. They combined 3 books into the 2003 film, Master and Commander. Recently Ive read All the Light We Cannot See, and I got three quarters of the way through Crime and Punishment before I unfortunately had to use it as firestarter. Right now I'm reading The War of 1812 by Theo Roosevelt.
