我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I just learned about Couchsurfing recently and saw it as a good alternative to hostels or Airbnb’s.

Other than hostels, Couchsurfing gets you out this bubble of travelers and gives you the opportunity to get more involved with locals.

And As I’m a student traveler it also helps me to cut down on travel expenses and extend my travels.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: It’s hard to say, my favorite genre changes quite often and don’t like this one favorite band. But in general I’d say the not a lot that I don’t like

Films: Same as for music I’m open for anything. But I really enjoy the Monty Python movies, the Party with Peter Sellers, The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Harry Potter.

Books: Once in a while I read a book, but I’m more likely to listen to the audiobook version. Currently I’m listening to “the Swarm” by Frank Schätzing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I had the amazing opportunity to take part in an archeological excavation in the Peruvian Andes. Digging two different Inca sites at an elevation of about 3,700m. The excavation also marked the start of my South America travel adventure.(almost 3 month in Peru now)
During that time I met some amazing people at a volunteer program in Ttio a small town about 1 1/2h from Cusco, made some new friends from all around the world and took this adventures unguided trek to Machu Picchu.
