About Me
Hi all,
My name's Leon and I am born and raised in West Auckland, New Zealand (still live here now). Myself and my partner, Anoosh are currently studying our Doctorates in Clinical Psychology at the University of Auckland (sounds much more serious than it really is). I enjoy anything to do with the outdoors as I grew up walking in the Waitakere ranges or on the wild west coast beaches, computer gaming... and psychology, I guess? Both myself and Anoosh are keen travelers and are heading over to the United States early 2018, so if you have any suggestions, hit us up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was prompted to make a couchsurfing account because we're poor students looking to keep our expenses down while traveling America next year. Also, I have always maintained that staying with locals is the best way to get to know the best places to go and create cool relationships with random people. If someone stays with us in the future you will likely see a different (better in my opinion) side of Auckland than if you'd stayed in the city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ate the Green Ant Cantina's (Cairn's, Australia) "Wings of Death", 10 wings marinated and cooked in a paste made from the 5 hottest chilis in the world (at the time). It was not pleasant, but is one of my proudest moments.
