About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To observe more is my mission: “Nothing has such power to broaden the mind as the ability to investigate systematically and truly all that comes under thy observation in life.” - Marcus Aurelius
PHILOSOPHY
I am a vegetarian who avoids killing bugs.
A Utilitarian who holds moral truth to be ultimately relativistic or generally void of any actual truth value.
I live a fairly solitary life style.
I enjoy the minimalistic approach to home decor.
I strive to reduce suffering and stress and maximize pleasure and calm.
Atheist, Free Thinker, Skeptic...
There are quite a few concepts to piece together to get a picture of my mindset. Not too sure how I can relay my personal philosophy in an effective way, so I decided to just list a few concepts that fit into it...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm interested in surfing / meet-ups; my current living environment is not conducive to a hosting experience, but maybe when I settle down a bit I'll start hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Brand new to CouchSurfing, but I've heard really good things and am eager to give it a try.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot of philosophy books, or books with philosophical themes, such as:
Sherlock Holmes (Doyle)
An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding (Hume)
An Essay Concerning Human Understanding (Locke)
A Treatise of Human Nature (Hume)
Discourse on the Method (Descartes)
Dexter (Lindsay)
My all time favorite movie is Amelie - I watch a lot of foreign films I particularly like Japanese, Korean, and French cinematography.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
ME: Working in an Air Traffic Control Tower
TORNADO: Touching down on base ever so close to the Tower
HELICOPTER: In our air space relying on our instructions to be guided around the path of the Tornado
(Fun story that goes along with this scenario ^_^)
