我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Becoming a freelance writer——Being myself (making a living by writing) is the bravest thing I have done so far.

Although I knew when I was young that I loved and was good at writing, I never thought about making a living from it, because I believed that once writing was linked to profit, it would no longer be pure.

In fact, when I became an employee of a company and worked diligently as everyone expected, I found that I had gradually lost my vitality, my curiosity about the world, and more wonderful possibilities.

During the years I worked in Shanghai, I gained some recognition and a sense of accomplishment, yet living in a vast information cocoon, I felt suffocated and sensed my spirit withering.

I began to contemplate the concepts of freedom, equality, and the essence of work. So I resigned, and it took me about 2 years to determine what I really wanted to do and be good at in the future.

Now I aspire to fulfill my dreams one by one: go to Spain to see Gaudi's buildings, go to Antarctica to see seals, go to Russia to learn ballet, go to Taiwan, and go to South America.
