I’m a queer individual originally from Venezuela who has been living in Germany (Berlin and Hamburg) for the last 12 years, with a quick 6-month stint in Barcelona.

I’m a (vegan) cook turned UX/UI Designer, trying to channel my drive for sustainability, inclusion, and accessibility into my work.

I’m a huge music enthusiast; I need to listen to music every day. I love going to concerts and festivals, and every other weekend you’ll find me dancing at a club (if I don’t have too much work). At home, I enjoy my quiet time. You’ll find me with headphones on, staying informed on current events, as I’m very interested in politics, or watching a film.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to help visitors experience the city in a way that feels more like living here (a hard task, I know). I aim to offer a curated experience that goes beyond the typical tourist attractions (which, to be honest, I also enjoy). This includes walking around interesting neighbourhoods, good and affordable restaurants, cool events, bars, relaxing parks and the likes. And that is also the experience I’m searching for when I’m traveling myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m really into pop: electropop, artpop, hyperpop; electronic music, avant-garde, and ambient music. Some of my favorite musicians are Jenny Hval, Burial, iamwhoami, Robyn, Stars of the Lid, and William Basinski.

I love pretentious, artsy, dramatic, surreal films. I need to catch up on a lot of the hyped films from the last few years though—living in capitalism gets in the way.

I’m not much of a book person myself (too much commitment). I much prefer reading opinion pieces and articles.
