About Me

New to Couchsurfing!

Hi my name is Leonardo Leal and I'm an Economics major at Stanford University. I was born in Mexico but I have lived in the US for about 10 years. I love to meet new people, try new foods, learn new languages etc.
I'm also really hygienic and won't mess up your place and I expect the same if I let you couch surf.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to break out from my comfort zone and explore the world, all while having fun doing it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I met the President of my university during my 3 day preview and I he welcomed me when I was officially on campus for the 1st day of school
2.Helping kids from low-income neighborhoods get through college through inspirational talks, networking, and positive reinforcement. I think education is the key to break the barriers of poverty.
3. Study in China for 3 months at Peking University and actually be able to hold a conversation with a native!
