I’m also a very self-reliant and self-aware individual who values his independence and autonomy.
I do not conform to traditional societal norms and stay away from the herd mentality.

My main hobbies are: traveling adventures, backpacking, getting to know other cultures, learning about science, technology, nature and universe, as well as economics and business entrepreneurship.

COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great experience/adventure in Cuba when I travelled around the country meeting fellow travellers and friendly locals, I went off tourist trial and was staying with local people and have seen what wouldn't have on a regular holiday.

Mexico 2024/2025 - Getting to know the community and lifestyle in Tulum while working remotely over the winter.

Thailand and Vietnam 2022/2023 - Motorcycle Road trip in Thailand and Vietnam - 4 months of self-reflection and discovery. I was lucky enough to meet likeminded people on Couchsurfing Hangout who are also on their own life journey of learning through traveling.

Mexico 2020/2021 - Digital Nomad challenge - working remotely and living like a local in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Merida while world wide traveling was on hold due to the global pandemic.

SE Asia 2019/2020 - exploring vibrant cultures of Thailand, Philippines, Bali, Malaysia and Singapore in a 3 month long journey that led me to self discovery and created time for reflection.

Caribbean 2015/2016 - Island Hopping Adventure - my first long and adventurous trip - I've spent 3 months in the vibrant and colorful culture of Trinidad, and Tobago, Granada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Martinique, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Barbados and finished it all off with a trip to glamorous Miami in Florida, USA ;) It was "once in a lifetime" experience ;)

Trinidad & Tobago 2014 - Amazing Experience of being a part of the band and playing mas in a fantastic costume, we shared a house with people travelers from all over the world who came to T&T for see the islands flame up in this dynamic masquerade ;)

Dominican Republic 2012 - Discovering the beaches of Juan Dolio as well as the colonial architecture of streets in Santo Domingo.

Jamaica 2011 - Again traveling around this beautiful island in a rental car with fellow backpackers I met in the hostel in Montego bay. Making friends with local people who showed me the real Caribbean culture ;)

Brazil 2011 - Backpacking in Brazil during the carnival, Rio, Salvador and Itacare, made really good friends with local people who were like cousins to me and showed me around - best trip of my life ;)

Cuba 2009 - Trip to Guantanamo Bay and staying with the locals in their house tasting real Cuban life - this was before I knew about couchsurfing ;) completely spontaneous adventure!
