After having finished school I went travel in New Zealand with a friend for about 7 months. We hitchhiked around the whole country and we were mostly wwoofing and a bit couchsurfing, so that we met apart from all the travelers (mostly Germans) lots of Kiwis, too and had a great time. ☼

Now, I'm studying law in Bonn (Which is not as boring as it sounds like, by the way!) and enjoying student life. I live in a flat with 8 flatmates and we're having a lot of fun together.

While travelling so far from home, I realized that I don't really know many places in my homecountry. That's why my present travel plans are all smaller ones: In the next time I'd like to visit some more cities and other places in Germany. Also there are still lots of places in Europe I'd really like to go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a really nice concept to meet local people while travelling. I'm really amazed that people are so welcoming and friendly! Also I like to share stories about travel experiences and I like to have a nice talk. Besides I really like to leave the normal tourist perspective for a while and get to know a place also a bit from the local point of view, it really makes a diference I think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a student exchange for six months - first living three months in my host family in France and then hosting my French exchange student for further three months. It was a fantastic experience and she's still a good friend of mine!
Also I've been for 3 weeks in Tanzania, visiting our partner school! That was really special because we were welcomed like friends in a very different culture...

What I Can Share with Hosts
