My name is Leonie and I am an open-minded, lively person and keen on discovering and enjoying new things.

I would like to get to know new areas of our multifaceted planet and I think that coachsurfing offers a great way to discover new places.
In the last years I met several people doing coachsurfing and I heard a lot of positive, enthusiastic stories about coachsurfing. Moreover, through my activities and travelling I met a lot of international people and always enjoyed the international, common spirit of travelling and get in touch with different cultures etc...;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. Because you get in touch with diverse cultures, lifestyles, traditions, creeds,... which are transferred though people. Because it enables you to see life though a different perspective. Because travelling is a great way of living.
But I think that you will not be able to discover and gain such amazing experience if you travel “like a tourist”.
I enjoy to get in touch with the local culture and get to know how citizens experience and percept their town/village/city/metropolis/region/... Therefore, I am really interested in the various ways to arrange, design, organise and shape our everyday life. Travelling inspires me. I think that we can learn from each other in order to improve our living conditions and our public welfare.

Interests

I like going jogging, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, dancing (zumba), cycling, travelling, reading and cooking together.
And I appreciate poetryslams, modern art, lsitening to live music as well as to discuss, talk, exchange:)

I have quite diverse interests.
On the one hand I study mathematics since abstract and logic thinking captivates me and on the other hand I am trying every day to make our planet a little bit more worth it to live in and try to consider social and ecological sustainability in our everyday life. In general, I think that participation (can) achieve a more diverse, colourful, tolerant and social society thus I am interested in observing and reflecting about what influences society, behaviour and way of thinking. Furthermore, psychological studies, findings and potential implementations captivate me as well.
