ABOUT ME

Hi,

My name is Leonie. I am a 32 years old female of the Netherlands.

One of the goal's of my travelling is to really get more word wise. I want to evolve my perspective of this world. To see the real lives of people all over the world. What you do to get by, how you live, what kind of work you do, what the important things in life are for you, what you do for fun, where you are proud about culture and country wise. And what are the difficulties living in your country, what are the benefits, how is living in your country like compared to what I know and used to. So I really want to learn about your country, culture and life.

My goal is to see and understand a culture and country as seen by the people, not how it is shown in the tourist guides.

I make this journey whit the constant idea in my mind that the primary basis needs of any human being are: a place to live, food, water, social live, a place to grow up, a change to develop your personality, love, a family. Every body lives there life in different ways, depending on your background, your living environment, interests, changes in life, norms and values. All these different lives but the basic needs are the same. Making this journey will open my minds to other ways, see good things, interesting things, weird things and so on.
What is it that makes people happy...... Is that not where it all is about?

This is who I am and what I can do.
I am a trainer for horses and dogs I also teach the owner / rider. I am a sporty person. I have been practicing al kinds of sport and made my profession partly out of it. I use to work also as a sail instructor. Further I do diving, cycling, climbing, sailing, surfing (wind and kite) I tried surfing at waves a couple of times, dancing (tango, salsa, Latin), walking, squash and so on. I love outdoors and sun.

I am a professional horse trainer and instructor. I used to run a horse riding school in the Netherlands. There I did the training of the horses. As well dressage as jumping, breaking in young horses (many of them!) and rehabilitating horses with problems. For the rest I did a lot of teaching and guiding rides outside. Also running the horse riding school, so taking care of the costumers, doing administrative work, logistics and everything what comes to it. I am certified for teaching and also I am certified as a dog and horse trainer and behaviorist (to help out and retrain dogs and horses with behavioral issues)

So I am a professional trainer with a lot of experience in taking care of horses, training horses, breaking in horses and working with horses and dogs with behavioral issues. And I have a lot of experience teaching and guiding clients.

Beside being a trainer I am a semi professional photographer.

I am looking for a nice place to stay with some nice friendly people. Learn about your country and culture and have a good time meeting people.

I have been teaching lessons in Dutch and English so both are fluent. Spanish I am learning at the moment.

I am very good with people and love to meet new ones and always happy to help out where needed. I am patience, happy, open minded and always in for a good time and some laughter!

I also use to be a au pair for three girls in the age of 4, 7 and 9 years old.
