ABOUT ME

I am a big fan of discovery. Whether that be exploring local food (pie) options, or finding the best vantage point for a view of whatever city I'm in, I like to stay on the move. I'm always up to meet new people and experience all that cities have to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

To live life to the fullest, in whatever capacity you interpret that statement. A few people throughout history have also mentioned treating others the way you want to be treated, and that's a pretty good call.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to participate in any way I can, but unfortunately I do not have a couch to offer at the moment. I hope to bring a unique perspective and contribute positively to any couch (and its host)that would have me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was driving through the USA coast to coast, and knew no one in Omaha, Nebraska where I would need to stop. Someone suggested Couchsurfing. I was hesitant to try the service at first, but I was welcomed by strangers with open arms. That made me a CS fan for life.

Interests

When dogs put their heads in your lap, catching a frisbee while diving into water, a perfectly-timed high five, late night food runs, biking around a new neighborhood, stand-up and sketch comedy, and on a related note, sharing some laughter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something that truly awed me was the Avenue of the Giants in Northern California. 100 foot tall redwoods tree surrounding a quiet, winding road in a serene forest.

I have studied intensely and can now confidently say I can teach people how to participate in a perfect high five, as mentioned above.
