I'm originally Portuguese, but I've been studying in the UK for the past 4 years, and I'm now in the USA (College of William and Mary, VA) on my year abroad!
I've gotten to know people from all over the world, and I absolutely love travelling and seeing my friends wherever they find themselves - unfortunately that has been mostly within Europe, so this year I really want to explore more of North and South America!

The best part about travelling is getting to know locals and actually dive into a different culture - couch surfing is an amazing way to do that.
(also, as a university student, I often find myself short on cash, so it really is a win-win deal)

I like a lot of different music: from the dresden dolls to gogol bordello, from modest mouse to louis armstrong. And I love to share music, and to listen to new stuff that I haven't heard before - I usually end up adding it to my ipod!
I don't really know a lot of movies, but I like Ghost World, Thank You For Smoking, V For Vendetta, Jesus Christ Superstar...
As for books, I do have an all-time favorite: Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre.
