Hello! My name is Leor, and I am a programmer, artist, and friendship enthusiast. I enjoy writing and performing comedy, costume parties, seeing local performances (music, theater, drag, comedy, performance art, etc), and meeting new people. I will be visiting Amsterdam from the 21st to the 29th of March, and I'm excited to do as much as I can in such a short time!

I would like to travel as affordably as possible, and have as interesting a trip as possible. I believe the best and most interesting thing about any place is its people. Being a guest (and friend?) in someone's home would be the perfect travel experience for me, and, hopefully, for my host too!

My favorite few bands are: The Dresden Dolls, The World/Inferno Friendship Society, Tally Hall, Lemon Demon, Man Man, Janelle Monae, Regina Spektor, etc etc etc. I also love showtunes.

I enjoy movies, but I'm not a huge movie buff. I recently saw Don't Think Twice, and that was good!

A few favorite books of mine are: John Dies At The End, Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Going Bovine, and the Sex Criminals comics.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In my senior year of college, me and a friend created a collection of cyborg-inspired clothing made with recycled tech scraps. It was for our school fashion show. It looked spooky and stunning, and we even wrote a weird, funny skit to read as our introduction. We did a lot of intricate, difficult work, prying apart keyboards and experimenting with materials and weaving power cords. And we had to finish it during midterms week! We were exhausted when we finished, but we were so proud.

I love to cook, and would be happy to cook for my host, if I can use the kitchen. I will also be happy to do your makeup and styling for a night out. (I can do weird, fun looks, but I can also do normal, pretty looks.) I also would like to make friends with my host, and I could maybe even host them in the future in my place in New York!
