Overview
About Me
I like extremes: from snowy Moscow, where I worked in the Russian government, I moved right to the ocean and palm trees - to Miami. Guess what I'm doing in a place where people from all corners of the world come to party? That's right: PhD in Political Science.
Despite these several details like the Russian government, PhD, and politics that could point you otherwise - I am positive, friendly, and easy-going. I love meeting interesting people to share emotions and get new cultural experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS is a place where I met the most inspiring people from all over the world.
Besides, I love travelling (if it hadn't been for work/studying, I would have devoted my whole life to it), and fellow CSs are the best way to explore the genuine culture of the new place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Indie, rock, classical music (sorry, 8 years of musical school). Always open to anything new.
For books, it's G.G.Marquez, H.Murakami, S.Rushdie, N.Gogol, V.Pelevin, F.Dostoevsky, L.Tolstoy.
I don't watch movies all that often, but I've watched "Amelie" hundreds of times, so perhaps would consider it my favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A spontaneous tattoo while CSing in Mexico. Still like it.
Teach, Learn, Share
If someone is interested in that tongue-breaking language (yes, it's Russian) - more than ready to teach you. And will be grateful if you teach me a couple of words in your language.
I also play the piano, so always happy to get my hands on it, along with yours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cultural exchange is probably the most suitable answer in this case. But seriously, I'm open to provide all kinds of help you may need - with pleasure!
