I've been teaching French abroad for a while now, always travelling. Obviously, I love travels.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing simply in order to meet people from all over the world, to share experiences and lifestyles. It's obviously the best to travel and meet locals. It's also great to host people and help them getting around cities I've usually recently discovered (since I move every year).

I must say I'm a book-worm. There is always a book by my bed. Right now, it is one by Pérec, La vie mode d'emploi. My favorite book must be Notre Dame de Paris by Hugo, a must-read ! Apart from French writers, I also read foreign novels :) ! I like Swedish, Hungarian and Spanish authors, the classics from England or US... In a word, just tell me which you liked and I'll be happy to dive into it !

Favorite movie ? Last week, I watched the movie about Pina Bausch and loved it, it was very moving. I enjoy watching documentaries, historical movies or movies about a country, a culture but I also have my blockbusters moments : the new Star Wars movie is coming out so it's time to watch the all serie (of course, the old ones will stay the best!).

Lastly, the music ! So, I've said I was all about books but what would be life without music ? :) It goes from classical music to folk music, to world music, rock'n'roll (Wish you were here, best album ever!) and a little bit of jazz.

I've seen the burried churches of Lalibela, in Ethiopia ; enjoyed the most beautiful city in Europe : Budapest ; I have seen the Charles bridge of Praha (the other most beautiful city in Europe) under the snow ; I rode my bike on the Golden Gate bridge; lived through the winter in Mongolia :)

I can share time with a good coffee. I'm pretty good at discovering the best coffee places in town, or the cozy cafés. I am usually working during the week but since my schedule changes often, I might be free to walk around with you. But I also understand that people might wanna be on their own. Whatever suits you ! The only thing is I'm not anymore a party girl so don't expect anything from me concerning the clubbing scene :)
