ABOUT ME

I'm a 24-years-old girl from Switzerland who likes to travel and get to know other people.
Some years ago I've spent 6 months in Finland where I was working as a volunteer in a kindergarden. I got to know a lot of other volunteers from all over the world, and now I'd like to visit as many as possible in their home countries.

Originally I'm from Schaffhausen, where I spend a lot of time during my summer holidays. But for my studies (interdisciplinary Master in children's rights)I moved to Sion.

I like to spend my time with my friends. Go to parties, jogging, cook together or just hang out...It doesn't really matter what we do, as long as we have a good time.

I have been a vegetarian for several years now, so I don't eat neither meat nor fish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think couchsurfing is a very good way to travel. You can stay with people who can give you advices where to go and what to do in their cities and you don't need to spend the money for a hostel.
I'd like to host other people, so if you need a couch in Fribourg don't hesitate=) It's possible that on weekends I'm not here since I'm going often to see my family and friends in my home town. But there's a chance that one of my flatmates will be here, so you can ask me anyway and we'll see what we can do.
I'm also glad to meet you just for a drink or something and show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done couchsurfing for the first time in Finland with friends. I did it again when I returned to Finland to travel on my own and on two occasions in Germany.

Interests

During summertime I love swimming in the Rhine, the river of my hometown. Whenever it's sunny and I have time you can find me there! In wintertime I often go skiing or snowboarding in the mountains. I love good books (even tough I have to read quite much for university, so during the semester my "private reading" suffers a bit) and films, I like to cook (when I'm in the mood) and spend my time in the nature.
