ABOUT ME

Hi!
I'm an outgoing person who loves meeting new people. I've traveled all over the world and and hope to continue doing so. My travels have taken me from Ipanema to the deep into the Shan highlands to the waves at Kuta Beach. Traveling, probably much like yourself, is my passion!

I'm currently studying at NYU's Gallatin School. I'm focusing on politics and its relationship with religion, particularly in Southeast Asia. Since most of my traveling has been done in that part of the world, I have particular interest there and hope to eventually work abroad.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm all about live and let live. I try to learn as much as I can about myself through honest reflection. In doing that, I find I can understand people a lot better, making it difficult to ever judge.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I'm living in a tiny dormitory these days in Manhattan, I don't have space enough for a grown human. Of course, if you felt you could squeeze onto our university grade couch (3X2??) you're welcome to visit! Otherwise, for the time being, I'm strictly a surfer.

I'm an easy going, laid back girl and could bring a lot to your home. I'm happy-go-lucky and love getting to know new people. I also do the dishes, clean up after myself, and use a neti pot- so no worries there!

I read a lot. I love travel writing, but I read loads of novels. My favorite authors include Vladimir Nabokov, Fyodor Dostoyevski, Jane Austen, Saul Bellow and lately Virginia Woolf. I also found Michel Foucault's writings intriguing and the history of Charles Freeman.
