About Me
CURRENT MISSION
have as much fun as i possibly can, so i wont complain about it when i'm in my 30s.
ABOUT ME
a nice Ukrainian girl born in Melbourne, lived in England, and traveled lots in Europe (especially Poland).
Right now im living in Detroit and love it so much i call it my hometown.
(May 2013 update: moved to the Netherlands to be with my 'smiley-eyed' boyfriend)
i adore wasting time in nice little cafes, fun bars and concocting drinks, trying to cook exotic foods, collecting vintage and antique cameras and alternative darkroom processes, tell you the mad funny shit that happens to me, discussing computer hardware, trying to roar louder than every other asshole at the concert, trying to tell you that street lights at night are like mini star systems, watching scifi shows, telling teenagers to stop playing fifa and play ocarina of time instead, telling kids 151 pokemon was more than enough, buying art supplies, going dancing and to bars dressed in silly themes like 80s mexican biker chick, being good at reading about something for 20mins on wikipedia and appear as expert at cocktail party, cats, kittens, quoting game of thrones and trying to make meme faces in real life, discussing world politics and economics, discussing things i want to eat, discussing male/female psychology, sneaking underage people into american bars , i like petting zoos, street art (especially wheat pasting) leather jackets, going for walks at 4am, burlesque shows, the stupid things you do in art school (ask me about my prune lamp sculpture!) , Ukrainian beer, dress and nail polish shopping, gossiping about you, sending and receiving letters, doodling, basic aerial acrobatics, visiting cities and pretending i live there, spanish films and independent artsy cinemas (i know i know, i'm disgusting)
PHILOSOPHY
we tend to regret the things we never did.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I adore showing people around cities - detroit is wonderful, honest!
i'll take you to the speakeasy and the abandoned warehouse shows and to transvestite bingo.
i've taken Brazilians, Poles, French, Koreans and the Dutch.
you're next.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love meeting new people and tend to get along with everyone wonderfully. My sense of humor is either deadpan sarcastic of slap-stickesque. oh and anytime is time for beer or coffee treat, inevitably ending up as a photo project or an outrages 'this one time...' story.

swam under a small waterfall in Australia. thrown off a train at night by a drunken conductor in Ukraine. broke into an abandoned 1960's book depository warehouse in detroit - wonderful to see trees springing up from inside a building full of rotting textbooks.
