My current and long term mission is definitely to go everywhere on my "countries I want to visit" list before I die!

ABOUT ME

I love travelling. I went backpacking when I was 25 and carried on for 6 years. I worked and lived in lots of different countries in that time. I then settled in Amsterdam for 8 years which I loved. In 2014 I went to live in the Gambia in West Africa for two years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to move around and explore different places and really enjoy meeting new people. Couchsurfing gives you the opportunity to do that.

Interests

Travelling, other cultures, going to interesting restaurants, meeting new people, listening to music, cooking, badminton, swimming in the sea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I lived in Hong Kong I got to go down into a tunnel that was being dug under the sea to Hong Kong island and saw the tunnel boring machine. Drove with friends through Death Valley to Las Vegas and remember the incredible sight of the glow of light in the distance in the darkness of the desert. Drove for hours through the Sahara desert to an oasis in Tunisia.
