Overview
About Me
Senior at Michigan State University studying International Relations with a minor in Muslim Studies. Lansing has been my home for nearly 22 years, so I try to travel as much as I can to experience other places besides the Midwest. My high school was made up of 40% refugees, which was a major factor in my decision to study international relations. I hope to one day work in the U.N. with the peacekeeping operations or be an ambassador to some country in the future. #LifeGoals
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The idea of traveling to new places and staying with locals creates a sense of community and makes the world a little bit smaller. I love to learn about new places, cultures, music, traditions, lifestyles, etc. I am on here so, that I can share my daily life with others and I can experience theirs. Though I currently live at home while I attend my last year of college and my parents are not too keen on accepting surfers, I hope to one day have my own place where I can be a good host to travelers and show them genuine hospitality in whatever city I end up in.
Interests
I love latin dancing/music (salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton), going to concerts, attending cultural events, exploring and adventuring outside. I am always willing to try things at least once. ZUMBA.
