ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old french girl who wants to discover the world.

I have lived in Luxembourg for one year with a lot of housemates. It's where I have discovered CS. I have hosted some travelers, learn a lot about other people, other cultures and myself.

Wherever I'll be, I'll be glad to host others, be hosted, meet others, share the spirit !

PHILOSOPHY

I will quote Neil Gaiman :
"Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe. "

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It is always a pleasure to host travelers and spread the word about the community.

I would like to get more involved someday but, right now, I don't even now what'll do next week so...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people before, everytime being a very good and pleasant experience, but the revelation for me came in a vanagon, lost in the forest during the night, with two strangers.

The whole story is too long too tell, but I understood that night, in California, thousands miles away from home, that the world is not as scary as I thought. That you don't have to be afraid of life. And I think Couch Surfing is one of the best school for that kind of lessons.

兴趣

Everything can get my interest. I like to just "understand" things, how the world goes. I love to go to bed knowing something I didn't know before, wether it is cheesecake recipe or rocket science.

But if I have to pick one thing I would say writing. I love words and how they go together to create stories. You can build a whole new world with a pen and a piece of paper. This never fail to amaze me.

音乐、电影和书籍

MUSIC : about everything listenable. Really. With a slight preference for old rock and hard rock

MOVIES : I have a thing for old US jarheads movies like Apocalypse now, Platoon, The Deer hunter and so on.

I'm pretty eclectic otherwise : Amadeus, Stand by me, Mystic River, Bridges over madison county, Back to the future's trilogy... and many others !

BOOKS : I am a really big fan of Neil Gaiman, I have read every word he wrote. The oscar for the compelling page turner goes straight to the SANDMAN graphic novels, which only the word "magnificent" can describe.

Other than Neil, my all-time favorites : I am legend, Do android dream of electric sheeps, Farhenheit 451, Of mices and men, The call of the wild and Hamlet (I know it sounds geeky...worse, I can even quote it!)

Climbed a volcano in the middle of the night, followed a dodgy looking man in a dodgy looking street in Indonesia, got away with two funny guys in a wanagon in California, survived an earthquake in NZ, saw a show at the Sydney Opera House, swam with sharks at night...

I can teach French and basic English.
Other than that I know my way around photoshop and I am a professional IKEA furniture builder.

I want to learn everything...
