ABOUT ME

I am easy going;laid back;low maintenance;hopeful. I live in Indianapolis and work as a computer programmer. I was born and raised in a small town in Illinois, USA. Since then I have gotten out to see the world. I studied abroad in Spain, lived in the Dominican Republic as a Peace Corps volunteer and travel any chance that I get.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to continue traveling and meeting new people. I think couch surfing would be a great way to get to know a city from a native perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I studied abroad in spain a few years ago, before couch surfing existed. i was amazed and touched by how new friends were willing to host and welcome me into their homes and lives. I am glad to see this type of hospitality has expanded to the internet.

When I was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic, my friend hosted a couch surfer. A group of us took him under our wing and showed him the island from our Peace Corps perspective. It was fun being able to share our knowledge of the island !
