Overview
About Me
Born around mountains, raised by community, and now fully in love with the energy of city streets, galleries, markets, and late-night conversations with good people.
I’m a designer by profession and a creative by nature. When I’m not working with brands, I run an NGO that supports disadvantaged kids from orphanages and children with disabilities. Community work is a big part of who I am — I believe in leaving every place and every person a little better than I found them.
I’ve travelled across most of Africa, exploring cultures, markets, art spaces, and stories from the continent. Now I’m finally starting my international journey — curious, open-minded, respectful, and always ready to learn from new people and different ways of living.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to explore the world through real human connections, not hotel windows.
I love meeting people who can show me their city through their eyes — the hidden gems, the culture, the food, the rhythm.
I’m also a good guest: I clean up, I help where I can, I cook when I’m allowed in your kitchen 😅, and I enjoy meaningful conversations about art, travel, culture, spirituality, design, and life.
Plus, as someone who grew up in a close-knit community, I genuinely enjoy being part of someone’s household for a moment — sharing stories, laughing, learning, and leaving good energy behind.
Interests
I’m deeply into creativity, culture, and people. I love exploring art galleries, street markets, and any place that tells stories. I’m passionate about design, photography, architecture, and how different cities express themselves through culture. I enjoy traveling across Africa, learning new ways of living, and connecting with people who have a good heart and a good sense of humour. I’m also very big on community work and social impact — it’s an important part of my lifestyle.
Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is wide — from soulful African classics to deep house, R&B, island sounds, and a bit of alternative. I love music that carries emotion and stories.
For movies, I’m into documentaries, biographies, and anything that explores culture or human behaviour.
Books? I enjoy personal development, African literature, and stories about creativity, travel, and spirituality. Anything that expands how I see the world always grabs me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most breathtaking moment for me was standing on top of Table Mountain and watching the clouds roll over the city like waves. The view of Cape Town from up there feels unreal — ocean, city, mountains, all in one frame. It reminded me why I love exploring and why I’m always chasing new experiences..
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach design basics, photography techniques, creative thinking, and how to use digital tools to express ideas. I also enjoy sharing what I’ve learned from running an NGO — community building, social projects, and working with kids from different backgrounds. If you’re interested in African culture, I love explaining traditions, stories, and perspectives from the continent.
Learn:
I’m always excited to learn new things from the people I meet — whether it’s a recipe from your childhood, a skill you picked up along the way, a new way of seeing life, or even how your city really works beneath the surface. I love learning about cultures, languages, spirituality, and everyday habits that make other people’s lives unique.
Share:
I’m happy to share good conversation, playlists, travel stories, and positive energy. I can help with cooking, chores, light house maintenance, organising, or anything that makes your space feel lighter and easier. I also share my creativity — from taking beautiful photos to helping with décor or small design ideas. Above all, I share respect, calmness, and the desire to create a meaningful connection wherever I stay.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I grew up in a community where everyone helped each other, so being useful comes naturally to me. I’m handy around the house — small maintenance, fixing things, organising, helping with chores, anything that makes life easier for my host.
I’m a designer and artist, so I can share my creativity, help with décor ideas, photography, or even teach you some creative skills if you’re curious.
Because I run an NGO for disadvantaged and disabled kids, I’m big on kindness, compassion, and community — I always bring positive, respectful energy into someone’s home.
I love volunteering, helping where I can, and being part of a household for the time I’m there.
And yes — I cook. Simple, tasty, homely meals. If you’re open to it, I’m always happy to prepare something.
Most importantly, I’m a clean, respectful, calm guest who values good conversation, good energy, and good connections.
